Where will the event be held?
Torino is the capital of Piemonte Region, west-northern area of Italy.
The Venue of the European Indoor Championships will be the Oval, a large indoor space builded on the occasion of the 2006 Winter Olympic Games (it hosted the speed skating events). After the Games the Oval (an overall area of about 26.500 square meter) has been transformed in a multipurpose space, able to host both sport and fairs events, thanks to the connection to the Lingotto Fiere Exhibition Centre
Who is taking part from Great Britain?
This winter's UK record-breaking athletes Mo Farah and Kate Dennison are included in a 36-strong Great Britain Team for the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Torino, Italy on 6-8 March. The championships mark the first for the GB & NI team with UKA's Head Coach Charles van Commenee at the helm.
